Group classes at Rooby-Doo Canine Academy provide a supportive environment for dogs to learn essential commands and strengthen their obedience skills. Our classes cover everything from basic to advanced obedience, as well as trick dog, scent work, AKC Canine Good Citizen, and more, providing a curriculum over an 8-week period. Classes occur once a week, each lasting for 60 minutes. A minimum number of participants is required for each course to take place. Pricing starting at $320.
Basic obedience is the beginning of your journey with your dog. This course starts to lay a foundation for you and your dog to communicate with each other clearly. You will learn several on-leash behaviors such as sit, down, come, focus, heel (loose leash walking), polite greetings, impulse control and the basics to safe leash handling skills. All training will be reward-based.
There will be no make up sessions for any missed classes within the 8-week course.

The CGC Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. There are 10 items the dogs must execute to pass the test. The goal of this course is to be guided and instructed through all 10 items for successful testing at the end of the course. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test will receive a certificate of title from the American Kennel Club.
There will be no make up sessions for any missed classes within the 8-week course.
